Trail Conditions are Great for this Weekend!

This is pretty much how it looks over on the East Loop in the large wetland area right now.  The base is great, should be hookable most anywhere this weekend.  Just in time for winter to be winding down.  Hard to believe it is March next weekend, it seems like winter is just getting started.

9 inches of snow Thursday made for great trails this weekend.

Saturday, February 9th....beginnings of a great trail.  We'll see what the rain Sunday night does to it.

2013 Sweetwater Challenge #1 Cancelled

Not happy to say that we are cancelling SWC#1 - it's very pretty here with the snow all up in the trees but it's ON THE GROUND that we need it! We lost our base with the rain last weekend and have only gotten 4 inches of fluff since that time.

Starting over.

Wiley and Blitzen "Where's the snow?"

After a wild sled ride with the dogs on hard packed trails last Thursday a.m., then an inch of rain overnight, 50's for Friday and Saturday...the snow is mostly gone.  We will be starting from scratch building trails again.  Icy conditions today, maybe some snow tonight.
